QD+ as a drying aid?

Postby ajc347 » Tue Dec 15, 2009 8:59 pm

Another question for you guys.

I know that Spray and Gloss is usually recommended for this, but can QD+ be used as a drying aid?

You could, but I think you'd get better results if, after you first towel dry your vehicle, you mist the paint with QD+. The polymers and carnauba will restore the gloss while removing fresh water spots/water trails. Too much water will promote smearing and dilute the boosting effect of QD+, I think.

Spray and Gloss is a great drying agent.
Not too sure of QD+ because of the wax.
